Newtown School is an infant school with early education facilities for children aged 2 to 7 years old.
The School currently has capacity for 120 children in Key Stage 1, 60 in Reception, 50 children in morning Pre-School and 24 in afternoon Pre-School. The Pre-School caters mostly for funded 3 and 4 year olds, but also has limited places for funded 2 year olds and children just starting with a few paid sessions, all 2 year olds have to live in our school catchment area. Our morning Pre-School is for children who will be moving in to Reception the following September. Morning children attend for 5 mornings a week from 8.45am to 11.45am. Our afternoon Pre-School class is for funded 2 year olds and younger three year olds. Funded afternoon children attend for 5 afternoons from 12.45 to 3.45pm Younger children may start with one or two paid sessions before they are funded. We take children in to the Pre-school in September, January or April depending on their age.
Reception class is when the children start school full time and will do 8.45am to 3.05pm every day. Many have attended our Pre-School but not all. There are two Reception classes at Newtown which can have up to 30 children in each and have a minimum of 5 members of staff, including two teachers.
I want to warn you, do not exceed the dosage of Viagra, because you will feel really unpleasant side effects. Another advantage of Viagra is that it really helps people with heart disorders/ It sound funny, but it is true (but consult https://uppills.com/viagra/ before use)
We currently have four Key Stage 1 classes, 5 – 7 year olds, each class has 30 children. Teachers work in partnership across each year group and plan themes and activities for all the children. Work can be differentiated across year groups to challenge more able pupils and nurture children who need it. This means that everyone works at the best pace and everyone strives to reach their potential and beyond.
We welcome visits to the school and have several open days in the Autumn Term or are happy to make personal appointments the rest of the year. Please contact the school office for further information.
